Shannon Barnett, RN, WHNP
Shannon received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University. She later went on to obtain her Master of Science with a major in Women’s Health-Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University. Shannon joined the practice as an advanced practice nurse practitioner in 2006. Initially she was a registered nurse at the office from 2000-2006. Previously, she worked labor and delivery at Parkland for two years. She has been working with Dr. Dean for 20 years. Shannon is married and has two children. When she is not at her children's sporting events she loves to practice yoga and be outdoors.

Brandy M. Valentino, MSN, WHNP/CNM
Brandy graduated from TVCC as a registered nurse (RN) in 1997 and began work in labor and delivery. Brandy returned to academia and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. She went on to pursue her graduate studies and graduated in December 2014 from Georgetown University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and is certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM). Forever a Hoya!! Brandy's midwifery career started at Parkland Hospital. She was welcomed into Dr. Dean's practice in 2017.

F. Thomas Dean, MD
Dean was raised in Texas, a graduate of Austin College, then the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio. He completed a combined four year residency in Ob/Gyn at Methodist and Parkland Hospitals. He has been in private practice in SW Dallas Co for over forty years. Early in his career he had several positions of oversite both as president of the Charlton Medical Staff, then the president of the Corporate Medical Board of the Methodist Hospital system. He was as well the chairman of the Board of Censors and a member of the Board of Directors of the Dallas CountyMedical Society. Since then he has limited himself to the enjoyment of the practice of medicine, mainly at Charlton Methodist Hospital .
Married for many years, he enjoys visiting his kids and grandkids and “anything outdoors”
